Elliott Homeschool 

Our son Jay was born in San Francisco in 2009, our daughter Holly in Seattle 2011. As a family we have lived and taught in California, New Mexico, Washington, Prague, England, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Panama, and now New York. During these years, while they have enrolled in various schools both public and private, the one constant thread throughout their education and development has been their homeschooling. A continuum that helps bridge the gap between these often conflicting learning environments as well as the educationally destabilizing covid years. We have followed the national curricula of various countries, as well as that of Montessori, Steiner, and have even toyed with Unschooling philosophy among other influences.. These all underpin our own bespoke curriculum, an open ended and all inclusive journey of learning and self-development, Adhering to the demands of compulsory education while enjoying the freedom of homeschooling. Allowing the child personal choice, liberty, and ownership over their learning through self-empowerment, self-direction, and self-actualization.
