On Wednesday we visited Tanglewood Nature Center & Museum. We saw their collection of owls, snakes, lizards, and a large tortoise that was actually the most active of all the reptiles. We also met and got to handle a bearded dragon who was getting ready to shed its skin. The had a family picnic in the car as it was so cold outside that the lake was frozen solid. We will be referring to their animals when we begin our study of Carl Von Linnéa's system of animal classification next week.
